Organised groups belonging to Educational Centres of the European Union have the possibility to get free entrance tickets to the monument of Alhambra and Generalife. These groups will have to be accompanied of responsable teachers. The Patronato of the Alhambra wants to contribute like this to the development of art education and also the values that make the Alhambra a monument to Heritage of Humanity.

Information for free tickets to Alhambra for Educational Centres of the European Union

Organised groups belonging to Educational Centres of the European Union have the possibility to get free entrance tickets to the monument of Alhambra and Generalife. These groups will have to be accompanied of responsable teachers. The Patronato of the Alhambra wants to contribute like this to the development of art education and also the values that make the Alhambra a monument to Heritage of Humanity.

At what time of the year?
All year long.

Number of people per group. The number of people per group can't exceed of 30 people (28 students maximum).

Maximum of free tickets per day and centre is 60 (Pupils and Teachers). If you need more tickets you will have to buy them in advanced through Servicaixa System (bear in mind that the time for the Nasrid Palaces will have to be the same one that for the free tickets, and the maximum of tickets that you can buy is 10 per credit card).

  From 1st may to 30th of september:
  From Monday to Saturday: from 09:00h to 14:00h and from 18:00h to
  21:00h. Sundays: from 09:00h to 14:00h.
  From 1st October to 30th of april:
  From Monday to Saturday: from 10:00h to 14:00h and from 16:00h to
  20:00h. Sundays: from 09:00h to 14:00h.

To get the possibility of free entrance tickets you will have to fill the following requirements:

* Fill up the form: Reservation Form PDF
* Petitions will have to be sent by fax to the following number: 0034 958 575127.
* The Patronato of the Alhambra and Generalife will send you by fax the confirmation of the visit and will assign you a reservation code to pick up the tickets.
* The free tickets will be picked up at the ticket office of the Alhambra showing the confirmation fax. You will be able to pick them up as soon as you receive this fax, and until the limit time indicated on this confirmation fax.
* If, passed this time, you haven't picked up your free tickets, the free visit will be cancelled without no possibility of recovering it. To collect the free entrance tickets it will be essential to present the confirmation sheet.
* Those who are not students or teachers and that can eventually go with the group, will not be able to get benefit of the free entrance tickets, and the reservation for these persons will have to be made separetly. The request for free entrance tickets involves the acceptance of standards for admission.
