About the Alhambra Tickets

  • For reasons of preservation and quality of the visit the number of daily tickets to the Alhambra is limited.
  • Due to high demand and limited the number of visitors per day are recommended to purchase them in advance.
  • The tickets are valid only for the day they were acquired.
  • The maximum number of tickets, which can be purchased by one person per day, is 10 tickets.
  • The hours of access to different parts of the Alhambra will be governed according to the ticket typesthat has been acquired and can be Day (Morning or afternoon) or Night.
  • Is printed on the ticket when entering the Nazaríes Palaces. This time must be strictly respected, otherwise you lose the right of access to them without appropriate refund of the price paid.
  • It is advisable to collect your reservation at least one hour before the time of entry to the Nasrid Palaces.

About the schedule of the Nasrid Palaces

Unlike the rest of the monument, you can only access Palaces within half now indicated on the entry, as the capacity is limited to 300 people every half hour. If you do not see in that half hour visiting forfeited, but may remain in the Monument. Note that the last trip to the Nasrid Palaces ends one hour before closing time, and lasts at least 30 minutes, so please visit the Generalife and the Alcazaba.

The cultural offer of the Monumental Complex of the Alhambra and the Generalife is wide and varied. You will be able to know the Alhambra by day, general daytime entrance, with the option of entry for the morning or the afternoon, and you can also see it at night, for which you must acquire the night ticket.

If you want to visit the gardens, there is the possibility of acquiring a ticket that allows you to visit the main garden areas of the Monument, including the Palace of the Generalife.

You can also visit the Alhambra Museum and the Palace of Carlos V for free.

General Daytime Ticket

Includes the visited areas of Alcazaba, Palace of Carlos V, Nasrid Palaces, Palaces and Gardens of the Generalife and Bath of the Mosque. This visit also includes the visit of gardens.

You will have to access the visited areas of the Monument within the established schedule for the type of ticket you have purchased (morning, afternoon or night), once inside any of them, you can stay until the closing of the same.

In the case of the Nasrid Palaces, you can only access at the time set at your entrance.

  • Tomorrow's Ticket: Monday to Sunday: 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • Late entry: 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (November 1 to February 28 or 29) and 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (March 1 to October 31)

Day Gardens Entrance

Entrance to visit the main landscaped areas of the Monument. Except for the Palace of the Generalife, which has a maximum capacity, these places have no controlled access by time passes, being able to make the tour in the morning or afternoon space as indicated in the entrance.

In addition, it will be possible to visit the place that has been designated "space of the month" at its discretion, only if it is on the itinerary of this type of entry.


  • Paseo de los Cipreses, Secano, San Francisco Gardens.
  • Alcazaba: Garden of the Adarves.
  • Partal: Porch of the Palace, Gardens and Walks, Rauda, Yusuf III Palace, Paseo de las Torres.
  • Palacio del Generalife: Low gardens and high gardens (Patio de la Acequia, Patio de la Sultana and Escalera del Agua).
  • Tomorrow's Ticket: Monday to Sunday: 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • Afternoon Ticket: 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (November 1 to February 28 or 29) and 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (March 1 to October 31)

Night Ticket

There are two types of night visits, night visits to palaces and night visits to gardens. These two visits are independent of each other and incompatible since they are made at the same time.

  • Night visit to Nasrid Palaces: Friday and Saturday from 8:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. (from November 1 to February 28 or 29) and Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. (from March 1 to October 31 ).
  • Night visit to Generalife Gardens and Palace Fridays and Saturdays, from 20:00 to 21:30 (November), and Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, from 22:00 to 23:30 (March, April, May, September and October).

The itineraries only include the spaces adapted to these types of visits for security and conservation reasons.

Please do not use the flash during the night visit, as it dazzles other visitors causing inconvenience and preventing the serene perception of suggestively lit itineraries.

Access to the Nasrid Palaces can only be made at the time indicated at the entrance, once inside you can stay until the closure of the Monument.
